GATE (Gifted and Talented Education) Announcement!

School of Science and Technology is now accepting gifted and talented referrals for NEWLY enrolled students in grades K-6 for gifted and talented screening process. If your student was enrolled 2020-21 school year and would like to be considered for GT testing, please fill out the referral form located on the school website. Forms must be returned to the front office or emailed to your GT Coordinator no later than Friday October 2, 2020. ***Please note Kinder students may be tested in 2nd semester*** ***Students who were enrolled last school year are NOT eligible for testing at this time*** For more information about the screening and identification process, please contact your school's GT Coordinator Kimberly Flores via email, kflores@ssttx.org

Mission Statement

The mission of the School of Science and Technology is to create a safe and healthy learning environment that nurtures, motivates, and enables our middle and high school youth to develop into mindful and responsible people who contribute to their community and to the diverse society in which we all live. Our program is characterized by the cooperative presence and unified support of caring families, businesses, as well as educational and civic groups, with whom our students will interact.
