Helping Families during COVID-19 with Sesame Street and PSEG

Since 2013, PSEG and Sesame Workshop have partnered to create a series of programs and resources that foster resilient children and families during different types of emergencies. The programs also offer tools and strategies that reach early childhood educators and other providers. During this webinar, we discuss how our offerings can help families during these unprecedented times of COVID 19 and how we, together as a community, can spread the word to promote resilience skills in children and their grown-ups.

Parental Addiction: Responding with Care

Join us for the third webinar of a series on parental addiction. Jac Charlier and Jessica Trimboli describe ways law enforcement agents, first responders, and community partners can work together to help young children in situations of parental addiction and substance abuse. They explore resources from and offer ways to use them with young children and to engage the broader community.

Helping during health emergencies

As the COVID-19 pandemic persists, we know that children and families need special support. The Health Emergencies topic page on SSIC is full of resources designed to equip kids and caregivers with strategies to take on challenges—from coping with sickness, navigating new back-to-school routines, and practicing flexible thinking—with confidence. Explore the resources today and share with families you work with.
We're here to support you in your work with kids and families. Together, we can continue to help kids grow smarter, stronger, and kinder. Show us how you care using #CaringForEachOther.

Stay safe and be well.
